The Editor of MASCOT - the ASCO Magazine - is Mike Hyman, who has been an ASCO member since 1994. After several years in the motor trade, Mike joined the MOD, working mainly on Light Armoured vehicles, including investigating defects, producing modifications and writing Technical Manuals. He then joined the team engaged in the design and development of aluminium armoured vehicles, and eventually became Project Manager for the procurement of all Light Armoured Vehicles for the British Army. Mike retired in 1994, his latest procurement having been a very dilapidated 1932 Singer Junior Nine Sports two-seater, which he fully restored over the next four years as his retirement 'project'. |
