ASCO Roadster Registrar
is Bill Haverly.   Bill was a founder member of the club and has been Roadster Registrar since 1977.  He has built up a wealth of specialist knowledge on all aspects of Roadsters, based on the restoration of a rogue 1951 Roadster 4AB.
Bill also owns the only known surviving
SMX Roadster prototype.
He has a keen interest in the cars' history and had has two articles published in Motoring Monthlies:-

"The First Plastic Car" (Collector's Car July 1980) - the story of the SMX Roadster, and "Fifties Modern" (Classic Cars June 1986) - a short outline of Roadsters featuring the 4AB Series.

He has also acquired copies of Sales Records for all the post-war production Roadsters, so if you want to know the original colour of your car's trim, or who the first owner was - ask Bill.
He started autojumbling in 1980 to track down those elusive Roadster parts and has built up a network of specialist suppliers who can help with most aspects of restoration. He runs a stall at various events, including Beaulieu.
Bill has a collection of used, new-old and remanufactured Roadster parts.  CLICK HERE to see a list of a cross section of these.  If the part you are looking for is not listed, contact Bill with details of what you need and he will do his best to help.
